Berber Host & Heritage Partnership: Mohamed is the owner and local guide at Chez Ait Said. Speaking Arabic, French and English, he welcomes travelers looking to experience Amizmiz beyond conventional tourism.

Through the guesthouse, visitors can discover the surrounding High Atlas landscapes, local villages and traditions while enjoying a warm Moroccan welcome. Mohamed also shares his local knowledge through guided hikes, cycling experiences and traditional cooking activities, helping guests connect with the natural and cultural heritage of the Amizmiz region.

House Rules & Mountain Etiquette

In accordance with traditional High Atlas Berber hospitality, shoes are typically removed at the carpet threshold. Respectful conservative attire is welcomed when walking through village commons. Alcohol is not sold on site unless licensed, but guests are warmly welcomed to savor unlimited fresh mint tea.
