Atlas Mountain Range is a locally owned and operated trekking company based in Imlil, in the heart of Morocco's High Atlas Mountains. For over 20 years, we have been organising exceptional walking holidays and guided treks for travellers from around the world — from easy day hikes near Marrakech to multi-day summit climbs of Mount Toubkal, North Africa's highest peak.
Under the leadership of founder and veteran mountain guide Hafid Saidi, our team was originally created to serve French-speaking mountain enthusiasts before evolving into a world-renowned adventure collective. Hafid was born in the shadows of Mount Toubkal and has spent over two decades pioneering safe high-altitude routes, mentoring the next generation of certified Amazigh guides, and defending fair, direct community wages for local muleteers and guesthouse families.
Since 2014, we have continuously reinvented our offering — adding new routes, new destinations across Azzaden, M'Goun, Siroua, and Saghro, and an ever-growing team of passionate, licensed local mountain guides who know the High Atlas like the back of their hand.
