Ijoukak & Nfiss ValleyBerber Homestay is a traditional family home in the peaceful Ijoukak Valley of the High Atlas Mountains, around 90 minutes from Marrakech. Guests stay with Said and his family and experience Moroccan and Berber culture through home-cooked meals, traditional bread and tagine preparation, local activities and mountain adventures. The five guest rooms are located on the second floor, each with an ensuite bathroom and access to a large terrace overlooking the valley and mountains.
Berber Host & Heritage Partnership: Said and his family have welcomed travelers since 2015. Berber Homestay presents itself as a family home rather than a conventional hotel, giving guests the opportunity to share meals, learn traditional cooking, discover local villages and explore the High Atlas with local guides. The family reports that their home and valley were affected by the September 2023 earthquake and that the homestay reopened in December 2025 after rebuilding.

In accordance with traditional High Atlas Berber hospitality, shoes are typically removed at the carpet threshold. Respectful conservative attire is welcomed when walking through village commons. Alcohol is not sold on site unless licensed, but guests are warmly welcomed to savor unlimited fresh mint tea.
